I’ve got a bevy o’ links to share with you, plus a little ramble. Also, I spent some time yesterday with a famous bird puppet who got shouted out this week in thee NY Times, a bird called Chad, whom you may know from your TikTok (where he has 5.2 million likes, what?) or your Instagram or whatever, and I’ll be on this bird’s podcast on Friday.

I’ve been friends for 25 years with the man with his hand up this bird’s ass, but that’s another story for another day. Go follow Chad’s roommate Josh Zagoren and say hi if you want - he’s just another member of that huge demographic known as “nice Jewish boy from Iowa who is obsessed with pinball and performs weekly avian op-eds at an historic jazz bar in Chicago in front of a packed audience.”

I am also on Instagram, can you believe it? I have mostly been too tired to create my own content on my own TikTok, but if you have suggestions for what I should do in that space, please tell me.

I love reading, and I don’t do as much of it as I’d like - by which I mean, I don’t read 24/7 because I have to do other things, like drink water and pee and sleep and brush my teeth and stare at my cat’s belly and commune with nature (the succulent potted plant in my home that I somehow haven’t murdered yet.)
