Greetings, Children of the Night. ‘Tis I, Sara, your becloakéd (it’s a word, maybe) guide to the misty myths and dark discoveries of this, the Season of the Witch!
I turn 43 (imagine!) on October 25 (can you even?!) As my online “birthday party,” I’m raising funds for INARA and The Jewish Board over on my Instagram (look up top near the bio.) Please contribute if you feel moved to do so!
INARA has a rapid response program to fill in gaps in medical treatment in Gaza, Ukraine, and many other places. The Jewish Board is a 140-year-old, NYC-based social service agency that provides healthcare and housing advocacy to all New Yorkers, regardless of background.

The costume was suggested by somebody on Blue Sky, a platform where I no longer possess an account. I forget who said this was a good idea, but they were right.
Maybe I’ll get it together. Hmm. We shall see…
Anyway, time for some more photos! I’ve been trying to get out into the sunshine, drive around in the autumn, take long walks, that sort of thing. It helps my mood, and I love the Northeast this time of year.
Here’s what I saw recently while poking around New Hope, PA and its environs…
