I think Great is great. I am however saddened by the idea that kids don’t see older works of literature having relevance to their lives. I graduated high school at the height of Watergate. There was never a question that we wouldn’t read a number of “classics” before we left high school. I wasn’t too impressed - after all I WAS 15-17 then. Decades later, I began rereading those books and, holy lace doilies - how amazing these works truly are.
